I really wanted to like this one, especially since I accidentally rented it two different times (each with a different title). Thing is this is really stupid and only somewhat entertaining. This is a mad scientist kind of thing with a dead wife and a hunchback assistant. The scientist is on a mission to rebuild his wife of course, but it doesn't always make sense nor does it feel finished. I don't think Patterson knew what he was doing and that is an issue since he is an actor in it, the writer and director. I like low budget gold as much as the next person but this simply isn't it. The gore however is nicely done, and if that's all you want then you just may like this...I just felt like they didn't try with anything but the guts.
