Review:
I've seriously enjoyed "A Bucket Of Blood" and "Little Shop Of Horrors" immensely but this was a serious miss. Firstly it's not very funny, and the story isn't bad but really poorly executed. Despite it's 73 minute run time I found myself extremely bored and looking at things on the wall. The story is about some Queen Wasp jelly that a scientist figured brings back youth. Then we meet the owner (I think) of some cosmetics company, and their products aren't making as much money. During research they blame the fact that the owner (who's face is on the bottles) doesn't look very youthful anymore. Of course she becomes desperate and meets up with the scientist and she does start to become younger...only she also transforms into a bloodsucking wasp woman. I should point out that her costume has the ties showing, her neck they didn't even paint to try and look like part of the costume, and she's just wearing leggings for the bottom part. Watching her attack was the funniest bit really aside from getting to watch bees make honey. The rest was all super dull and not worth my time, still B-movie fans may get a chuckle or two from this one. The most interesting part of this whole story is that the lead actress in real life was actually bludgeoned to death by her dwarf Son who had psychological issues soon after, this was her last film.
