Review:
This is a very stylish giallo but of course that is expected from someone like Bava. The cast is quite good, Edwige plays a skank as per usual, with a group of folks that have come to a small island to relax. A scientist has some invention (a type of metal or something) that is worth a ton of money that folks are dying to get their hands on! Well okay maybe it's not that simple and in fact even at the end of the movie it was a little muddled why some things happened that did. What was great was that after folks wind up dead they were put in the meat locker which were some of my favorite scenes...only Bava could make that cool! It has qualities of "Ten Little Indians" and it was relatively fun to watch, it just could have used a little more thought and detail, but heck for an early gialli it's still quite good. Better than expected, but not one of the best!
