Review:
A young couple (Dr. John & Cathy Beck who reminds me of Mary Tyler Moore) on their honeymoon end up sneaking off in a bat cave to make love. On their way to do so, Cathy falls into a pit and Dr. John is bitten by a bat. So instead of turning into Batman, after a vaccination he turns into a Bat man who violently attacks for blood (though we usually only see the lead in and the after shots of him sweating in bed). Bad '70s music and lovely scenery of snowy mountains and dark caves dominate this picture. Still this does seem like it goes on forever and repeats over and over again, and they really do scrimp on the good stuff. It seems like a heck of a lot more could have been done with this plot. Still really don't find this film to be as terrible as some say it is. It's more like buying a generic brand instead of a brand name, it's not as flashy nor as tasty as some, but the basics are all there...well all except reason.
