Review:
This at least has a few things going for it, excessive violence (oh yes), and a strange giallo plot (that I sure didn't see coming) to say the least. Where the problems come in is that this isn't the most original plot idea, A horror music composer goes to a "murder house" to stay to write the tunes for a new horror picture. I'm guessing Lamberto saw Blow Out and liked it as much as I did, so he turned it into a giallo. This is filled with red herrings, and the same darned movie music song over and over again, and some film footage from our horror director over and over again too. It really should have been condensed a little, I think that would have improved it greatly although the gruesome murders help perk things up. As was, some funny moments, some great deaths, and a decent mystery make this reasonably easy to watch. It's just far from being one of the best the genre has to offer but it's still a fun entry none the less.
